Instructions and Tips

When you click the title of one of the Collections or Albums shown above, the bottom
part of the page will show a music player on the left, and some general information
about the collection or album on the right. On the left, you can click any of the titles
to play the song. The player will continue through all the songs unless you stop it
by clicking the picture. On the right, you can click a song number to see information
about a song that is not playing. This usually includes a Download or Purchase link
which you can use to obtain the MP3 file. The All Notes link (to the left of the song
numbers) opens a new window to display all the information on one page, but without
a music player. And finally, the small picture or the button at the upper right corner
of the song info starts playing that song when clicked. (Unless your flash player is old.)

For now, all MP3 purchases are handled at SoundClick.com A link in the notes
for each purchased song will take you there. Downloads of the free songs are
available at either web site.

To purchase a CD, please send an email and request a price list and current
delivery time for the ones you want. These albums are available in attractive
CD-R versions, with color printing and liner notes. MP3 files are the prefered
format for most people, but if you do need CD-R discs, please let me know.

If you have a slow internet connection, try this to prevent the music from
breaking up:  Start playing a song, then pause the player by clicking the picture.
Let the song continue to stream in until the progress bar shows it is done, which
could take several minutes, then click the picture again to resume playing.  The
Christmas Carols are lo-fi mono recordings, so you probably will not have to do
this to hear them if you have a good phone line and a 56k modem.
