World Building Legends
In the the twentieth century, scientists said the world is made of:
... particles and energy,
... possibility waves and measurements,
... symmetry groups and non-commuting operators,
... acausal data and complexity and emergent phenomena,
all in a majestic curving sea of space and time.
But I say, in a deeper human sense, the world is is made of:
... math and beauty,
... wretchedness and compassion,
... stories of wandering and awakening,
... pure flowing colors and sounds and joys and longing,
all in an uncontainable weightless sea of awareness and love.
